How We Evaluate
Once the Partner Huddle has been successfully executed and an opportunity has been shown to be worth further evaluation, we commence a more detailed assessment process. As a firm we analyze risk first and opportunity second.
We believe that opportunities must be viewed in the context of country risk, currency risk, future trends, and geo-political influences. The opportunity is then looked at in the round considering the findings of this process. If it cannot be demonstrated that risk can be mitigated sufficiently, we will not proceed.

We take the same rigorous approach to buyers, sellers, and investors/financiers. We only work with those who are motivated, demonstrate the ability to transact, and able to act on an opportunity decisively.

We assess commercial and residential property destined for the rental market using an income approach to estimating value. If the numbers work then we broaden our assessment and incorporate location, comparison to similar stock, and then additional factors such as trophy status, heritage, and legend. We then compare the proposed asset to similar items in our stock list and our current buyers’ needs to assess the outlook and potential for placing it successfully.
COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
ART
Firstly we assess the uniqueness and rarity of a piece and carry out the standard due diligence checks as to the authenticity, provenance, and pricing of an item. Once we understand the opportunity and are confident the market can support a sale we will approach our regular buyers in turn, giving a small window of exclusivity to each to assess their level of engagement. On engagement, we defer to the experts on each side and make the connection.
In this segment we are driven on proof, evidence of provenance, and price. We first undertake a detailed study of the materials offered to us to assess whether the opportunity is genuine. We subsequently check the evidence of its location and confirm that all supporting documents match in terms of weight, amount, and quality. Finally, we compare the price to market norms and investigate the rationale behind any discount, should there be any.
